According to tech blog AppleInsider reports, Apple on Tuesday won a “flexible electronic devices” patent. Patents involve portable devices is almost entirely made up of flexible parts, which means that the user can provide his force so that its screen can be folded like a wallet.

United States Patent and Trademark Office granted patent number No Apple invention. 8,929,085. The patent describes a portable device, such as the iPhone, capable of bending, folding, or other forms of distortion, but that it will not adversely affect sensitive parts inside.

Flexible electronics patent differences with other, outside of Apple’s patents also malleable fittings, such as casing or screen glasses, with flexible interior accessories such as batteries, circuit boards, display together.

While Apple may not develop a flexible iPhone in the near future, but Tuesday’s patents underscore Apple’s ambitions in mobile innovation. Apple patent application submitted for the first time in 2011.
